They have been extremely helpful and have provided an excellent carer
Overall Experience Rating
We have found Edyn Care extremely helpfull in providing a Live-In carer for our friend who is 92 years. They regularly contact us to follow up on the care she is receiving and any problems that may arise.
They sorted things very quickly initially. When current carer goes on leave its a bit slower to cover but thats totally understandable. I am very satisfied with the overall package and the carer is a gem.
There have been a couple of different mis-haps but I would give 4.5/5 for service. Otherwise, I am very happy with the overall service given, their communication and process in finding a carer was excellent.
They are slightly more expensive than other companies but the service was very good.
I would have liked a greater choice of Carer, however this had to be arranged in a great hurry with limited choice and, although not easy at first, we are shaking down and the support for the Carer from the Company is excellent.
Very professional, listened to what we required. The 2 carers were very very good and still are. No problems.
Very helpful and very responsive. The carers tend to be limited in terms of their background and location. Accent issues with the carer also. It didn't suit my father having live in care but in terms of finding him care on discharge from hospital I couldnt fault them as a company, they were very helpful and very responsive ...
Over-all I believe my father was happy with the care provided and the way Edyn dealt with everything.
Very helpful and efficient with competitive rates. Communication via internet was excellent.
Difficulties finding suitable carers probably due to short notice and restrictions of coronavirus.

What types of care are available?
There are two main categories of care…
1:1 – help with everyday living including housework, cooking shopping etc.
Specialist Care – help if you suffer from Parkinson’s, MS, Alzheimer’s or similar. The carer required to Specialist Care will be highly trained with relevant qualifications.
How much doees it cost?
That depends on the level of care required and the experience and skill of the carer. Weekly rates can vary between £895 to £1200 per week. But this will vary. You would need to speak to the care provider for an accurate cost. However, it is often a more cost-effective means to provide care than a care home.
